LENS COLOR IS AN IMPORTANT DECISION. LET US HELP.

Some people think merely blocking light with a dark lens is all they need.

Dark lenses without proper UV protection actually cause the pupils to dilate, thereby allowing greater amounts of UV light to enter the eye.  Whereas quality, polarized lenses provide 100% UVA and UVB protection, eliminate glare, enhance colors and accentuate contrast, depth perception and visual acuity.

Polarized lenses are available in a multitude of colors, providing the perfect match for each outdoor activity. To maximize vision, different outdoor activities require different lens colors.

Let us help you choose the perfect lens color for your paticular outdoor activities.  Our opticians have completed specialized courses in light transmission, polarized lenses, and sports performance lenses.  At Artisan Optics we understand Idaho sunlight and its effects on the outdoor activities that are an important part of the Idaho lifestyle.
