A MATTER OF BALANCE
To select the frame that will best enhance your image, first consider
the following facial characteristics.
|
Angles and Curves
If your face is angular, balance it with a frame that is round or softly curved. To minimize roundness, select frames with angles or dramatic shapes. Never buy a frame shape that repeats your own face shape. |
 |
Face Size
A large face can carry larger frames or strong shapes. But delicate features require lighter frames with wire rims or softer colors that are less overpowering. Rimless styles also flatter delicate features. |
 |
Width and Length
A short face can be lengthened with frames that are wider than they are deep. High temples and frames with little or no color on the bottom rim also suggest length. If your face is long, avoid rimless styles; instead, select deeper and narrower frames. |
